　　Step 1 Warming up

　　1. Watch a cartoon about Christmas before class.

　　T: Let’s watch a cartoon about Christmas.(clap together)

　　Step 2 Pre-reading

　　1. T: We watched a cartoon just now. It is about?

　　Ss: It is about Christmas.

　　T: Do you like Christmas? Why?

　　Ss: Because...

　　T: What do people do at Christmas? What do people eat at Christmas?

　　2. T: Christmas is very important for western people. Do you know the traditional festivals in China?(PPT出示節(jié)日圖片)

　　Teach: festival, festivals(read one by one)

　　3. (PPT出示節(jié)日圖片)T: China has a long history. There are many traditional festivals in our country. For Chinese people, they are also very important.

　　4. T: Today, let’s learn Unit 7 Chinese festivals together. (帶讀課題)

　　Step 3 While-reading

　　1. T: We know, there are many festivals in China, but because of the limited time, we are going to learn four festivals of them today.

　　Now, open your books, and find out the four Chinese festivals on the book, then, try to guess the Chinese meanings of them.(板書)
