地球是人類的共同家園，但人類的活動卻對地球造成了嚴重的破壞。生物賴以生存的森林、湖泊、濕地等正以驚人的速度消失;煤炭、石油、天然氣等不可再生能源因過度開采而面臨枯竭;能源燃燒排放的大量溫室氣體導致全球氣候變暖，由此引發的極地冰蓋融化、海平面上升等問題威脅到人類的生存發展。
