關于除夕之夜的英語日記

　　除夕之夜，燈火通明;合家團圓，幸福美滿，誰不想和家人團聚呢?但伴隨著“嘻嘻哈哈”孩子們的笑聲，“噼噼啪啪”的鞭炮聲，一個熟悉的鈴鐺又傳入耳朵。我把頭探出窗外，果然，陳大伯一如既往地挨家挨戶地收垃圾。今天是除夕，他怎么還不休息，怎么還不回家呢?看著他腰酸背疼，滿頭大汗的樣子，我不禁想起以前的陳大伯。

　　以前，陳大伯每天都要來收一次垃圾。每當我們為商店門口的垃圾感到刺眼時，他就又踏著清脆的鈴聲幫我們把煩惱拋到九霄云外。他的動作永遠是那么專心致志，他的神情永遠是那么笑容可掬。他一彎腰，提起垃圾袋，然后來到垃圾車邊，揭開袋口，把袋里的垃圾倒進車里，然后折平塑料袋，把它放在自己的大布袋里。就這樣，一只又一只裝進去。第二天，干凈的塑料待一只又一只地被送到我們經商戶手里。我們收獲了一份不可言喻的教育和感動。不管是狂風暴雨還是烈日當空，他總是堅持著，他累著，但他快樂著——正當我沉思的時候，我看見經商的鄰居叔叔走到他旁邊，拍拍他的背說：“陳大伯，你辛苦了，除夕夜了，該回家了。”陳大伯卻吃力地搖搖頭手，一邊把垃圾放進垃圾車里，一邊說：“哎，人老了，沒大用場了，收收垃圾，為城市增添一份干凈也是我力所能及的事了。今天是除夕之夜，我更應該為大家服務呢。你看，我們的城市不也干干凈凈地過新年嗎?”

　　望著陳大伯遠去的背影和滿滿的垃圾車，伴隨著萬家閃耀的燈火，我的耳邊又響起了那熟悉的鈴鐺聲。
