　　我們的英語老師戴著一副眼鏡，從眼鏡里面透過的目光非常嚴厲。起初我見到他時，心想五年級這一學期可要遭殃了，攤上這么一個兇的`老師還免得了吃皮肉之苦。剛上英語課的時候，神經繃得緊緊的，生怕有一絲的閃失，那時就有可能吃上“竹筍炒肉”啦！

　　可是幾天下來，我發覺劉老師雖然嚴厲，可上他的課非常輕松。你看劉老師在講英語題的時候，如果你上課搗亂了，老師會用一種別具一格的方式懲罰我們—抄寫英語課文10遍。你看！又有同學送上門來了，老師在講臺上居高臨下，同學說話看得一清二楚。說著，老師殺雞給猴看，“罰抄課文十遍”老師不客氣地說道。

　　“老實交代剛才都干什么了！”英語老師像審問犯人一樣。

　　“跟同桌說話……”他支支吾吾地說。

　　“剛剛我講的什么，哪個單詞，什么意思。”老師一連氣問了三個問題

　　“……yesterday……它的意思是昨天”他語無倫次。

　　我急忙高高舉起手，我解起英語題來得心應手。這樣一節課下來，同學們還是意猶未盡，還沉浸在英語課里呢！
