Gulangyu is a small island of Xiamen. It’s like a garden on the water. Cars and buses are not allowed to drive there, which makes the island so quiet that music played on the piano and violin can be heard.
Here the sky and the sea clearly meet on the horizon. When standing at the top of the Sunshine Rock, you can see much of the landscape of Xiamen, and when standing at its foot, you can gaze at the beautiful garden that surrounds it.
Gulangyu produces bananas, coconuts, sugar cane and so on. The people here, warm, simple and hardworking, are making every effort to make the island more beautiful and they hope to welcome more visitors in the future.
Such is Gulangyu, a beautiful and inviting island, where a warm welcome awaits.

In my hometown, the scenery is very beautiful, as I am so close to the nature, I can see the scenery clearly. The house I live in is in front of the mountain, so I can see the sunset every day, that is the scenery is like to appreciate most. When the dusk comes, the sunset is going down the mountain, I will stand in my garden, watching the sunset going down. The sunset will become more and more red as it goes down the mountain, when the dark comes, the sunset will disappear. I like to watch the sunset, I feel I am so close to the nature and I blend myself in it.
在我的家鄉(xiāng)，景色非常的優(yōu)美，由于我是如此的`接近大自然，因此我能清楚地看到景色。我所住的房子就在山的前面，因此我能每天看到日落，那也是我最喜歡欣賞的風(fēng)景。當(dāng)黃昏到來的時(shí)候，太陽(yáng)就會(huì)下山，我會(huì)站在花園前，看著日落下山。日落在下山的時(shí)候會(huì)變得越來越紅，當(dāng)天黑了，日落就會(huì)消失。我很喜歡看日落，我覺得自己是如此的接近大自然，也融進(jìn)了大自然。

Today, I went hiking with my friends. As we traveled for some distance, so this time we could see the different scenery. At first, we decided to see the sunrise, but all of us missed the perfect time, so we changed our plan, we decided to watch sunset. We took a visit of the moutain, as the high altitude, I could see the full view of the city. It was so beautiful, especially a long river walk around the city. When it was going to be dark, we saw the sun running down the hill, it was so red, as it was burning. The sky first got red and then the clouds made up of some animal shapes. How interesting it was.
今天,我和我的朋友去徒步旅行。當(dāng)我們走了一段距離,所以這次我們可以看到不同的風(fēng)景。首先,我們決定看日出,但是我們錯(cuò)過了最佳時(shí)機(jī),所以改變了計(jì)劃,我們決定看日落。我們游覽了這座大山,由于高海拔,我可以看到城市的全貌。它是如此美麗,尤其是一條長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)的河流蜿蜒在城市間。當(dāng)天暗下來的時(shí)候,我們看到太陽(yáng)下山,很紅,就像燃燒。天空的云層首先是紅色,然后變成一些動(dòng)物形狀。那是多么有趣。
