what's your plan for dragon boat festival?
As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and can’t see the sweeping ocean. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating “Zong Zi”. My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. Because there was no supermarket, we couldn’t buy finished product from market. However, now, we can buy anything in supermarket, so my mother didn’t make them anymore. The boat festival began to fade out my mind.
In reality, young people began to have a bug to celebrate foreign festivals, such as Christams, Saint Valentine’s day, April Fool’s Day, some people also celebrate Easter in church. Talk about Dragon boat festival, it’s the same as some foreign conventional festivals, such as Witch’s Day in Czech. People burned the witch’s puppet so as to welcome spring. Some people are willing to celebrate foreign festivals because they like alien culture. And vice versa, foreigners who like China also concern about Chinese traditional culture.
After new holiday regulation, we have three holidays during the dragon boat festival. So many people will choose this time to travel. People who lived in Xiamen are able to visit Xiapu or Wu Yi mountain, these tourist attractions are in Fujian province,which is suit a short tirp. but I’d like to stay at home for my decorate painting. I decide to draw two canvases about Christmas, it’s really a big project. Then I’ll hang them on the new house wall. I must start it now, or I can’t finish them before Christmas eve. But I preceive it’s a little difficult to draw them in such a hot season.

在現(xiàn)實(shí)中，年輕人開(kāi)始有了慶祝外國(guó)節(jié)日，如圣誕節(jié)、Saint Valentine節(jié)、四月的愚人節(jié)，也有些人在教堂慶祝復(fù)活節(jié)。說(shuō)起端午節(jié)，它和一些國(guó)外的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日一樣，比如捷克的女巫節(jié)。人們焚燒女巫的木偶以歡迎春天的到來(lái)。有些人愿意慶祝外國(guó)節(jié)日，因?yàn)樗麄兿矚g異族文化。反之亦然，外國(guó)人喜歡中國(guó)也關(guān)注中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化。
經(jīng)過(guò)新的假期規(guī)定，端午節(jié)期間我們有三個(gè)假期。所以很多人會(huì)選擇這次旅行。住在廈門(mén)的人們都能夠訪問(wèn)霞浦或吳儀山，這些旅游景點(diǎn)都在福建省，這是適合短期旅行。但我想呆在家里裝飾我的畫(huà)。我決定畫(huà)關(guān)于圣誕節(jié)的兩畫(huà)布，這是一個(gè)非常大的項(xiàng)目。然后我會(huì)把它們掛在新房子的墻上。我必須現(xiàn)在開(kāi)始，否則我不能在圣誕節(jié)前夕完成它們。但我認(rèn)為這一點(diǎn)很難吸引他們，在這樣一個(gè)炎熱的季節(jié)。
