　　He closed his tired eyes for a while, then checked the time. Everyone in the office should be gone by now, he thought. He got up and walked around the quiet office. He quickly scrambled down the hallway towards the chemistry department. Right after the keypad on the door gave access, he heard noise echoing down the hall. It was too late to turn back. 　　A man and a woman walk into a very posh Rodeo Drive store. "Show the lady your finest mink!" the fellow exclaims.

　　So the owner of the shop goes in back and comes out with an absolutely gorgeous full-length coat. As the lady tries it on, the owner discreetly whispers to the man,

　　"Ah, sir, that particular fur goes for $65,000."

　　"No problem! I'll write you a check!"

　　"Very good, sir." says the shop owner.

　　"Today is Saturday. You may come by on Monday to pick it up, after the check has cleared." So the man and the woman leave. On Monday, the fellow returns. The store owner is outraged, "How dare you show your face in here?! There wasn't a single penny in your checking account!!"

　　"I just had to come by," grinned the guy, "to thank you for the most wonderful weekend of my life!"

　　First， you must figure out what the design of your stairs will be。 If you don’t know， find a person who has managed to build a set of stairs to reach his pie， and find out what needs to be done。

　　Next， you will need to prepare for your stairs。 You need to buy the wood and the tools。 You might need to replace some broken tools。

　　Finally， and this is the hardest step， you need to focus your mind on your work。 The actual work requires constructing the stairs。 You may find that you’ve worked really hard for days， weeks or even months， and then suddenly find that your stairs are not going to line up with your pie。 So you need to make sure that you still have money to buy new materials and rebuild your stairs in the right direction。

　　With proper planning and careful pacing， you will be able to reach your pie。 Your pie is right there， right above you。 All you need to do is get it。
