Lesson 9

  教學目的:

  1.初步掌握形容詞的比較級的基本用法和基本句型。

  2.了解中秋節(jié)的習俗

  3.掌握重點詞組和單詞;be free. on Mid-autumn day. come over, see you tomorrow, would like

  教具:Pictures tape recorder and real objects

  教學過程:

  Ⅰ.Revision 1.dication. 2.make a dialogue about the last lesson

  Ⅱ.warming up;

  教師把事先準備好的一些有關中秋節(jié)的圖片或錄像資料展示給學生,然后提問:

  1.What are they doing?

  2.Why?

  3. What day it may be?

  學生答道;1.They are having a dinner. Some of them are talking.

  2. They are having a celebration.

  3.It may be Zhong qiu jie。The moon is big and bright.

  教師說 :Ok, today we are going to learn something about Zhongqiujie. How do we say Zhongqiujie in English?

  學生答 Mid- autumn day.

  Ⅲ.Read and act

  1.教師說 Now, listen to the tape and see what are Hun Mei and Lucy going to do on the mid-autumn day,放錄音,學生聽一遍錄音材料 然后回答:They are going to have mid-autumn day.

  2學生跟錄音磁帶讀兩遍對話。并找出不認識的單詞和短語

  3.教師解釋文中的短語和單詞be free, call sb. Sth, come over,autumn, festival, free, mid-autumn. Moon cake, nut, and sweet, inside, store.

  (1)be free;意為有空。Free 是形容詞,在句中做表語Be 。動詞可隨著不同人稱和時態(tài)變化。例如:Are you free this afternoon? No ,I am very busy .I have a lot of homework to do .另外free還有免費的意思。

  (2)come over:意為過來,順路來訪。例如:My sister lived far from me. Today, she is free. She comes over to my house.

  (3)would like: 意為愿意,喜歡,想要。后面可以跟名詞也可以跟動詞不定式。例如;I would like that bananas. What about you? No, I would like to drink some water.

  (4)on mid–autumn day :注意介詞的用法。在節(jié)日介詞用on, 例如:people get together to have a party on mid-autumn day ,especially the children they are very happy about it .

  (5)at this time of year:意為在一年的這個時候。

  例如:A: My father always takes me to have a holiday at this time of year.

  B: My mothers always buy a lot of gifts for me at this time of year.

  4.practise the dialogue in pairs

  5.role-play

  6.recite the dialogue

  Ⅳ.Read and practice

  1.教師可以在黑板上用簡筆畫畫出兩個大小不一的月餅然后指著小月餅說;Big, it is a big moon cake 同時在下面寫下big 然后指著大的說:bigger, it is bigger.然后寫成下bigger最后進行比較說;This one is bigger than that one。如圖:

  2.教師可以出示幾組實物讓學生說出.nice ,nicer cheap, cheaper , heavy heavier

  3.教師告訴學生如何把形容詞變成比較級形式.

  4.教師把兩把尺子放到桌子上演示;I have two rulers. This ruler is long. This one is longer. This ruler is longer than that one.

  5.教師讓學生仿照教師就其他組實物進行口頭練習并把句子寫下來。然后讓學生自己總結句型:主語+be+形容詞比較級+than +其他

  學生自己總結本課重點詞組,概括對話, 講述語法和句型

  教學目的:

  1進一步學習形容詞比較級的用法。

  2掌握本課所授的單詞和詞組in the open air, thank for, be like, be hungry, look+adj

  3學習課文掌握中秋節(jié)的風俗習慣

  教學教具:Pictures tape recorder and real objects

  教學過程:

  Step 1. Revision

  1.Revise形容詞比較級的用法

  1)Ask the students to write down the comparative degree form of those adj:cheap- large- hard- hot -

  2)實物練習:教師出示實物讓學生編一個關于購物的小對話。要求學生購物時使用形容詞比較級對商品進行比較。用句型:主語+be+形容詞的比較級+than +其它

  2.教師關于第九課對話的提問。

  A:What is mid-autumn day?

  B: What is moon cake like?

  學生回答On Mid-autumn Day we usually eat a big dinner and moon cakes.

  They are small round cakes with meat, eggs, nuts or something sweet inside。

  Step 2 Presentation

  1.利用已學過的對話引出有關中秋節(jié)的話題 today we are going to read an e-mail to see how did Lucy introduce mid-autumn day to her friend.

  2.讓學生默讀一遍課文(五分鐘左右),并用鉛筆劃出課文中的生詞,鼓勵學生根據(jù)上下文來判斷這些詞的意思。然后回答下列幾個問題:

  (1)Is this an email from Lucy to Joe?

  (2)What day is Mid- Autumn Day?

  (3)What do people do on the day?

  (4)What kind of special food do people eat?

  3.教師對學生標出的新單詞進行講解,并對文章中新出現(xiàn)的重點詞匯和短語進行講解

  (1)Thank for意為:謝某人某事。結構:thank sb for sth 或thank for sth.

  例如

  A:I must thank you for the advice. You really give us a great help

  B: You should thank for you teacher. She is kind

  (2)get together:意為聚會,動詞。 get-together意為聚會,名詞。結構:have a get-together.

  例如

  A: We are going to get together to celebrate the new year. How about you?

  B: Lucy and I had a get-together yesterday

  (3)in the open air意為在露天。例如;What did you do in the open air? We had an party.

  (4)at this time of year:意為在一年的這個時候。

  例如:

  A: My father always takes me to have a holiday at this time of year.

  B: My mothers always buy a lot of gifts for me at this time of year.

  4.學生完成閱讀課文后,完成此表格的填寫,以總結概括全文。

  5.完成此表后,學生可以根據(jù)線索詞對課文進行復述。

  教學目的:

  1進一步學習形容詞比較級和最高級的用法。

  2掌握本課所授的單詞harvest another better pumpkin

  3學習關于購物的交際用語

  教學教具:圖片、實物

  教學過程:

  Step 1 Revision

  1.教師讓學生自己編一個對話進行表演向其他同學介紹中秋節(jié)和月餅。可參照第十課教師所列表格

  2.聽寫第十課的單詞和詞組。

  3.教師組織學生復習形容詞的比較級的形式和用法

  (1)Ask the students to write down the comparative degree form of those word: tall, long, nice, thin, hot, heavy, good, happy)

  (2)教師出示實物,要求學生做口頭和筆頭練習。例如:I have two balls. This one is big. That one is bigger. That one is bigger than this one.

  Step 2 Presentation

  (1)教師可以出示幾組實物讓學生說出nice nicer, cheap cheaper, heavy heavier等形容詞比較形式,然后告訴學生如何把形容詞變成比較級形式.

  (2)教師可以在黑板上用簡筆畫畫出三個大小不一的月餅然后指著小月餅說;Big, it is a big. 同時在下面寫下big 然后指著大的說:bigger, it is bigger.然后寫成下bigger最后指著最大的球。同時在下面寫下biggest進行比較說;This one is biggest of three.如圖:

  (3)讓學生仿照教師就其他組實物進行口頭練習

  (4)讓學生自己總結比較等級的句型:主語+be+形容詞比較級+than +其他 和主語+be+ the+形容詞最高級+of/ in+范圍

  (5)把學生分成小組,每組學生根據(jù)實際情況進行比較等級對話練習。

  (6)教師放錄音磁帶Read and say的內容。

  學生先聽一遍。然后完成練習ture or flase

  1)Lucy wants to buy a pumpkin.

  2)She takes the small one.

  學生跟讀兩遍

  (7)利用一些物品和方框中的詞進行替換練習。

  Step 4 Summary:

  學生自己總結本課重點詞組,概括對話, 講述語法和句型

  教學目的

  1.使學生熟練掌握形容詞比較級和最高級的用法,能根據(jù)具體情景用形容詞比較級和最高級行對話

  2.使學生掌握本課所授重點單詞和詞組twelfth, turkey, celebrate,harvest

  3.進一步培養(yǎng)學生對英語的語調和重讀的語感

  4.熟練對話,總結歸納感恩節(jié)和中秋節(jié)的異同

  教學教具:Pictures and real objects

  教學過程:

  Step 1. Revision

  1)做下列填空練習。

  A: I have two brothers. Xiao ping is ____(young).

  B: I am ____(young)than him.

  A: Xiao ke is the____(young)of three.

  2)學生三人一組討論誰的鉛筆長。

  3)讓學生根據(jù)第十課總結中秋節(jié)習俗的表格編成幾句話。做一個講演。

  Step2 Presentation

  1. Spelling and pronunciation .

  通過投影出示單詞,教師領讀單詞。學生比較發(fā)音,總結發(fā)音規(guī)律。

  2.Stress and intonation

  學生聽錄音然后跟讀,讀時可以在重音處擊掌。引導學生體會。

  3.Listen

  第一遍泛聽,知大意。第二遍分段聽,填出所確缺的單詞。第三遍檢查答案。

  4. Read and act.

  (1)教師導入新課we have reviewed the mid-autumn day just now. Today we are going to learn a American holiday: Thanksgiving.

  (2)聽第一遍錄音,判斷Ture or Flase.:

  1) They eat chicken on thanksgiving

  2) Only American have thanksgiving.

  (3)聽錄音跟讀兩遍對話。找出生詞和不懂的地方。

  (4)教師解釋重點和難點和生詞。

  (5)Practise the dialogue in pairs

  (6)Role-play

  (7)教師可以在學生將對話練習熟練后,總結有關感恩節(jié)的有關習俗并和第十課的表相比較。然后讓學生根據(jù)表格編寫一段文字介紹這兩個節(jié)日。

  Step3 Practice

  1.Write

  Students write out several groups of sentences to compare things, then read them to their partners and correct each other’s mistakes. (Call a student to write on the blackboard so that teacher can correct their common mistakes.)

  2.Talk about the pictures

  Students use comparatives and superlatives to talk about the pictures in small groups, call one group to say it to the class. Then they may say anything about the pictures, even to make stories. Teacher write out some words of the things in the Picture “calendar, feast, candle, firework, wine, plant,” etc.

  教師可選擇在課后讓學生自己來完成此部分內容。

  Step4 Summary .學生自己總結。

  Step5 Homework:

  1.抄寫課文和對話。

  2.To write out a short story according to one of the pictures.
