中國目前約有4億六千萬的煙民，這是一個(gè)多么觸目驚心的數(shù)字呀！吸煙有害健康，是一個(gè)十分肯定的結(jié)論。教師在教學(xué)過程中要積極滲透這一觀點(diǎn)，方法要巧秒，使學(xué)生都能接受這一觀點(diǎn)，并真正做到不吸
【拋磚引玉】
教師在授課前可設(shè)置如下的問題，并讓學(xué)生暢所欲言：
1. 你經(jīng)常聆聽你心跳的聲音，感受脈搏的跳動嗎？
2. 你是否曾有過因生命的存在而激動不已的瞬間？
3. 有什么理由可以讓你放棄對生命的擁有？
在引起學(xué)生的共鳴之后，可進(jìn)一步加以啟發(fā)：科學(xué)早已證明，吸一只香煙至少使人少活5分鐘，你是否真的甘愿讓無比珍貴的、有限的生命在噴云吐霧中煙消灰散？
通過這樣的導(dǎo)課，既可以吸引學(xué)生對本單元學(xué)習(xí)的興趣，又能讓他們接受一次正面的教誨，一舉兩得，從而實(shí)現(xiàn)教學(xué)目的。
本單元能力目標(biāo)：
① 對話（Lesson 5）
a. 朗讀：語音語調(diào)準(zhǔn)確，情感適度；
b. 歸納：歸納出用英語進(jìn)行請求、給予和拒絕的方法；

c. 將課文改寫成100詞左右的短文；
d. 討論吸煙的危害性。

以上單詞和詞組可通過對話，錄音，教師串講課文的方式呈現(xiàn)，然后用問答討論課文內(nèi)容等方式，再現(xiàn)以上單詞和詞組，加深理解詞義，掌握用法，最后用句型轉(zhuǎn)換或補(bǔ)全句子等方式加以鞏固。
