[辨析] appear, seem & look
（1）appear是根據(jù)事物的表面現(xiàn)象而提出的判斷，暗含事實(shí)往往并非如此之意；
look指憑視覺印象而作出的判斷，實(shí)際上也可能如此。
（2）seem是指暗含有一定根據(jù)，往往接近事實(shí)的判斷。它后面可以接名詞、形容詞、to be 結(jié)構(gòu)，可以互換。
（3）look, seem之后可接like短語，而appear不能，look可以用進(jìn)行時(shí)，但appear, seem不能； look seem可以接as if (though)從句，而appear不能；appear, seem之后可接that從句，而look不能；appear, seem之后可接to do sth. 結(jié)構(gòu)，而look不能； appear, seem 可用于there引導(dǎo)的結(jié)構(gòu)中， 而look不能。
