Yungang grottoes are divided into three parts: east, middle and west. The shrines in the grottoes are like a hive of honeycomb, and the large, middle and small grottoes are imbedded in the middle of the mountain. We are now east of the grottoes. The grottoes here are mostly towers, and large and small towers are arranged in neat rows. So the eastern grottoes are called the tower cave.
We are now in the middle of the grottoes. Each grotto in the middle is divided into two Chambers. The main Buddha center, the cave wall and the ceiling are full of relief sculpture, is really beautiful. You see, right?

The fifth cave is here. The central seated statue of the third Buddha in the grottoes is the largest Buddha statue in the grottoes. It is as high as 17, and it is not crowded with twelve or three adults standing on its feet. You see, it is demure, it is the expression of traditional Chinese culture; But its face image: "the forehead is wide, the nose is high, the eyes are large and the lips are thin ", but has the characteristics of the foreign Buddhism culture.
This is the sixth cave. It is the most representative cave in yungang grottoes. In the middle of the cavern, there are two floors up to 15 meters high. There are statues on every side of the floor, surrounded by statues of Buddha, bodhisattvas and flying gods. The wall is carved with the story of sakyamuni from birth to buddhahood. 我們現(xiàn)在處于中部的石窟。中部的每個(gè)石窟都分前后兩室。主佛居中，洞壁和洞頂布滿發(fā)浮雕，真是美麗極了。你們看，是不是？
前面就是著名的第五、六窟了，大家快點(diǎn)走呀。
第五窟到了。這個(gè)石窟中三世佛的中央坐像是石窟中最大的佛像，它高達(dá)十七為，腳上可站十二三個(gè)大人也不會(huì)擁擠。你們看，它形態(tài)端莊，是中原文化傳統(tǒng)的表現(xiàn)手法；但其臉部形象："額寬、鼻高、眼大而唇薄",卻具有外域佛教文化的特征。
這里是第六窟了。它是云崗石窟中最具代表性的`洞窟了。窟中央有連接窟頂?shù)膬蓪痈哌_(dá)十五米的塔柱。每層四面都雕有塑像，周圍雕滿佛、菩薩、飛天的造像。壁上雕刻有釋迦牟尼從誕生到成佛的故事。大家有興趣可以仔細(xì)看一看。
現(xiàn)在我們來(lái)到了云崗石窟的西邊。西部石窟以中窟、小窟和補(bǔ)刻的小龕最多，修建的時(shí)代比較晚，大多是北魏遷都洛陽(yáng)后的作品。
